Enjoying the hotspots in the Algarve
About us
In 2018, when we first came to the Algarve, we thought it was beautiful, but we didn’t feel at home right away. In the Netherlands we knew all the nice places and cities, the tastiest restaurants and the nicest shops. Here we knew nothing..
In 2020 we decited to move to the Algarve. We sold everyting in the Netherlands and bought a great Quinta, with 50.000 m2 for our horses, near Almancil and Loule. My wife Marlot Anna Cruiming works here as a purchase broker to help people find a suitable home. And our son Elyas (2015) goes to the International Eupheus School in Loule.
It took quite a while before we found all the good restaurants, shops and so on. Our friends had showered us with tips about the best places, restaurants and bars. And we did a lot of research on the internet.
With that knowledge, the Algarve suddenly turned out to be much more fun…. We enjoy living here and feel completely at home here.
To help others, I started this website. I made a shortlist and visited the restaurants, and made reviews and photo’s. As a former General Manager of Golden Tulip Hotels, I love the hotel and restaurant business. I selected for you the best of the 4000 restaurants. So you don’t have to worrie where you are going for lunch of dinner today. Just visit Hotspots Algarve, and find the best places to eat!
